Ladder lock buckle work perfect to make a web strap that can cinch up on itself. Stabilize one end of the webbing with the buckle, and weave the on end of the webbing through the buckle and it will hold until you want to loosen it up. This is the same non-metallic hardware being used by many “quality conscious” manufactures of outdoor gear. In many cases the FASTEX hardware has been found to be stronger than their metal counter-parts. Made of black Delrin.
